1) This one’s important: an online marketing system that generates leads
You see, there’s a huge difference between the person who utilizes an effective Internet marketing lead generation system from the person who tries to “recruit as you go” offline. The online superstar is bringing in dozens of leads while the offline person is trying to get through his phone calls to unqualified and uninterested friends and family.
Once you put an effective online lead generation system into your arsenal of network marketing tools, you’ll discover that as your lead flow increases to 15, 30, 70+ leads per day, you’re not only never at a loss for prospects, but those prospects are INTERESTED, ready-to-go prospects…
…much different from talking to your Uncle Dave who tells you you’re nuts for “doing” that network marketing “thing”!
2) Set up an Auto Responder: All an auto-responder is, is a piece of email software that allows you to followup en masse with your prospects.
Follow-up is just as vital online as it is offline. With the proper auto-responder system in place, as you’re generating all those daily leads, your system will automatically send out follow up emails educating your prospects on why they want to consider joining your network marketing company with you (autopilot… I love it, man!)
There are two leading auto-responders, Aweber and GetResponse, and I suggest you check them both out. I use Aweber, personally.
3) Contact Management System: Once you’re fielding all those phone calls and emails from the prospects that your online marketing system and email followups are causing, you’ll want to have a place to keep track of all the prospects you personally have phone or email conversations with.
One system you may want to consider is ACT!…a windows based contact management system that keeps track of things quite nicely for you.
4) YOU: the most important of all network marketing tools!
There’s nothing worse for building a huge network marketing business than a person who refuses to invest a ton of time on personal growth and development.
Every single day, you should be doing something for personal growth. This could be reading a book (even a page per day works), listening to audios, or watching videos. Consistent effort on this will cause you to become a real, bona fide leader that your team will follow.
