Yourself? What’s that?

Personal growth, kiddo! Personal growth is so key and something that only about 3-5% of all people invest enough time and money on each year….funny that only about 3-5% of all network marketers ever have HUGE success when building their network marketing businesses…must be some correlation there, you think?

Anyway, do everything you can to improve yourself…read books, watch inspiring videos, listen to personal growth audios. How often? Every single day of your life. Even if you just read one page in a book today, you’re improving.

Building Your Network Marketing Business: Lead Generation Online

The second thing you must do is figure out how to generate enough daily network marketing leads that you can’t help but recruit a whole bunch of ‘em. A great way (and an extremely effective way, if you want my real opinion) to accomplish this is by using all the various online marketing techniques, such as article marketing, blogging, video marketing, social media, pay-per-click, etc.

If you get good at online lead generation, then building your network marketing business becomes an enjoyable and natural process.

How can you get good at it if you’ve never done much online but open emails and search for stuff on Google?

Building Your Network Marketing Business: Lead Generation Offline

Generating leads online isn’t your only option. Although we live in the age of the Internet, offline MLM prospecting is still something you should incorporate into your lead generation efforts.

There are many ways to prospect in your local area. You can call the realtor signs you see in your neighborhood, you can pick up business cards anywhere you see them on local corkboards (such as in your supermarket, coffee shop, etc), you can set up contest boxes in restaurants, you can go to meetup.com entrepreneurial groups, etc.

My suggestion to you is to work in a mixture of both online and offline prospecting techniques. If you’re new to the idea of Internet marketing, focus more time at first offline since these are easy methods to understand and implement. Slowly, though, learn a little more about how to use the Internet to generate your leads.

The Internet will never automate the process of signups into your business. However, what many of those who take a negative view on using the Internet to build network marketing businesses miss is that you can effectively automate your daily lead flow.

Once you have that going, wondering who to talk to each day and how to best go about building your network marketing business becomes much less stressful and far more enjoyable.
