If you’ve been in the network marketing industry for any length of time, you understand that the biggest challenge facing most representatives is a lack of quality prospects to talk to on a daily basis. Without these MLM leads and prospects, most people find that they are out of the business within only a short few months.
(by the way, today’s post was inspired by a conversation I had yesterday with someone who called me and asked for my help in their business…)
This scenario is quite unfortunate when you consider that there’s a definite solution to the problem. The MLM scene has vastly changed since the advent of the Internet. When you discover how to use the Internet properly, you’ll find that finding prospects for your business is the least of your worries.
However, the key part to this is using all the various online methods and techniques PROPERLY. Many people go online and try to make something happen and all they end up doing is turning people off by what they call “marketing”.
Rather than market like a professional, they instead go on to many of the social media platforms, such as Facebook or Twitter and spam to as many people as they can messages that say they have the best MLM business opportunity, compensation plan, company, upline, etc.
Ask yourself a quick question to figure out whether this really works long term, “Do YOU enjoy getting those messages in your inbox every morning?” No? Then, why would you do the same to others?
Instead, what I encourage you to do is figure out how to properly “position” yourself on the Internet. You want an MLM leads capture system that sets you apart from the next person.
In order to do this, you need to learn a few things about Internet marketing that you can pass on and teach to others. That, right there, is why I see many people not doing this in the best way. They have a belief that it’s too time consuming to learn Internet strategies and they go back to spamming people on Facebook.
The great thing for you is that it’s really not that hard to learn a few techniques, such as article marketing or video marketing, and then teaching a few pointers about them. Once you do, you immediately become a leader in the eyes of the 99% of people in the network marketing world who don’t know that information yet.
The key word in the phrase I mentioned above about having a lead capture system is “system”. If you try flying by the seat of your pants in this business, be prepared for frustration. However, if you use an actual systemized plan, such as My Lead System Pro (MLSP), then you’re becoming a professional.
When you use a real system, then you’re taking advantage of what’s called Attraction Marketing and earning revenue even before your prospects join your main MLM opportunity. This is exactly what the professional network marketers are actually doing.
Yesterday, I told all this to a person who called me asking for some help. Basically, by the end of our call, I realized that she just wasn’t understanding how her Facebook strategies were actually a turn off for most people. It’s absolutely OK to point people to your opportunity from Facebook, but you really need to also add in education that helps people whether they join you or not.
My conversation with this woman inspired me to write this today because I want to help you understand the difference between a professional and an unprofessional in this business.
Unless you come from a place in your heart that you truly want to help others first, then you’re going to spam your opportunity. If you come from the right mentality of helping others see and UNDERSTAND how to use a system like My Lead System Pro, then you are teaching them how to fish…
Yes, I use MLSP and am biased toward it and make some cash if you use it with me. HOWEVER, I invested many hours investigating the other systems out there before I began using MLSP myself.
MLSP is the one system that looks like you set it all up yourself, doesn’t hawk just one “guru’s” products, and truly looks to your prospects like they are joining up with a professional network marketer who can pass on true value to them.
Just the fact that you can offer them the hundreds of hours of past live webinar trainings in our back office and the ongoing live Wednesday webinars each week provides your prospects more value than any of their company trainings do. That’s powerful stuff, indeed!
Well, at the end of my call yesterday, I gently told my prospect (in so many words) that I think she’s off her rocker for spamming out her stuff on Facebook and refusing to invest in a system like MLSP.
My hope and intent today is to inspire you to seriously check out why a system like this turns you immediately into a professional network marketer. But, it will only do that if you follow ALL the directions and marketing strategy “recipes” upon getting involved.
